Bolton Clarke (formally RDNS) - Homeless Persons Program

HPP provides assertive outreach to people experiencing homelessness who have unmet primary health care needs. The aim of the service is to link to mainstream and specialist service, by providing short term care coordination, facilitating engagement and promoting independence.
HPP is unable to provide a crisis response.

Low Income Support Service

The Low Income Support Service (LISS) is designed to assist people to address issues that are impacting on their day-to-day lives.
LISS appointments are free and confidential, allowing clients to talk about what is most importance to them, to examine their situation and make informed decisions.
The LISS Worker can help with everything from budgeting and household bills, to getting connected to specialist support services or with a specific identified need.
The program is driven by the needs of the individual and can be as short as one visit to get a particular issue resolved or longer term to assist someone through challenging times and address multiple complex issues.

The exchange offers Free Needles, Syringes,condoms and injection swabs.|Sharps disposal containers are available during office hours.|Disposal bin located outside the building|Information and pamphlets available on Legalities re returning needles, safer usage, H.I.V and Hepatitis

Needle Syringe Program - Mornington

Our needle exchange service is part of the harm minimisation program of the Victorian State Government and is the only such program in the Mornington area.

Clients are able to receive clean equipment and return used needles and syringes for safe disposal.

The volunteers who staff this service also provide education and referral to appropriate agencies.

We also accept used diabetic needles, an area that has seen increased growth.

The Needle Exchange is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.

There is no Needle Exchange Service on weekends. Please call the mobile service 1800 642 287 outside of business hours.
